Hi SP Bloggers ... Corinne is our next Egg-stravaganza designer and she has egg-spressed herself in that oh so shabby chic kinda way! Don't forget to leave us your comments below.
Hope you also get a chance to swing by the Playground before the weekend's over -- see all of our egg-citing egg creations up close and personal, along with lots of new products. We also have great classes at the Playground, so please check out our class calendar right here on the blog.
Shabby Chic by Corinne |
Shabby Chic Supply List & Instructions: You'll need a wooden egg; Webster's Pages Sentimental Journey paper, Brayer; Studio Matte Medium; Glossy Accents; Ribbon; Pearls & Glue Dots. To begin, tear small pieces of paper, paint back of paper with Matte Medium and place on egg. Continue until entire egg is covered. Paint a layer of Matte Medium over the entire egg and let dry. Using Glue Dots and Glossy Accents at top and bottom of egg, drape ribbon. Place pearls on lace accordingly. Using the pearl strands, cut 6 inch strands and place on top of each other diagonally on top of egg with glue dot (Corinne used craft dot) and then bring each end of the pearl strand up to top to shape petals.
I can not believe the creativity of the staff, as I said before they get better & better. I can not decide on my favorite. Getting my juices flowing to make one!
