Hi SP Bloggers ... grab your morning coffee, 'cause we have some serious catching up to do!
As always, the Playground's been hopping with creativity. First, a huge "Thank you!" to Joey from Bazzill for a great few days of classes, laughs and prizes. We hope she had a great time reconnecting with her "old" Long Island friends Saturday night before she has to head back home to Arizona. Those who took her classes shared that it was lots of fun and they now have some new favorite projects and products (the sander, the adhesive roller, the textured sandable paper, and the list goes on!).
Front of the Card Organizer (Notice it's textured sandable pink paper) |
We also made six cards to get started. Each month has a pocket page to note occasions and hold cards that you plan to send. |
In the layout class, we made 3 1-page layouts but with instructions and supply list to make its 2nd page. This is one of the 3 projects... |
And this was another of the 3 layouts we made. Love the sandable textured card stock. So many uses! |
What started as a plain chipboard album, turned into this beautiful finished Lickity Slip Album (8x8) |
Inside, we creates "pages" for a variety of page protectors -- from 8x8 to various other sizes (some of which fold to open up to surprises) |
Joey from Bazzill kicks off the 1st card class. |
The March calendar is jam packed with classes -- old faves and new ones too. First up is Sue's card class on Monday, March 12th (7pm), where you will get the goodies to make 4 cards with honeycomb centers (3 in class and one to go). Sneak peeks are below. Give a call or come in if you'd like to sign up; we can take your credit card payment information by phone if you just can't make it by the Playground before class.
