A Little of This & A Little of That

Hi SP Bloggers... Hope you've been enjoying viewing the fun and gorgeous eggs designed by the SP team for our Egg-stravaganza and you've been inspired to create your own.  Sue's second creation is a little of this and a little of that, which is sure to get you egg-cited about springtime!  Be sure to keep leaving those comments on this and all of our Egg-stravaganza blog posts.

Now if you've been keeping track, you're probably thinking that this is the final egg design that we'll be posting.  But you should know us better than that ... be sure to check back tomorrow (March 24) for more as we kick off Creation Week and how you can share your egg-ceptional designs on our post too!

Little of This & Little of That by Sue

A Little of This and a Little of That Supply List & Instructions:  You'll need a wooden egg; paint brush; heat gun (optional); Dylusions Ink Spray in a few colors; Twinkling H20 - a light color;
Graphic 45 Genuine Article pattern paper; Stickles in Star Dust; Colored Pencils; Gamsol; paper stump; rhinestones.

Begin by spraying different colors of Dylusions on to the egg.  Use a paint brush to blend color as needed. Go over the entire egg with a light color of Twinkling H2O. Set aside to dry or dry with a heat gun. Squeeze Star Dust stickles onto your finger and spread all over egg; set aside to dry. With your color pencils, color in butterflies on Graphic 45 Genuine Article pattern paper and blend with gamsol. Squeeze Star Dust stickles onto finger and spread on butterflies; let dry (or use heat gun but from underneath the paper).  Apply second coat of Star Dust stickles if desired. Cut out butterflies and adhere to egg. Place rhinestone in center of each butterfly and on egg.

  1. Sue, I am not EGG-A-GERATING when I say that this egg is so pretty. I love the EGG-STRA stickles that you added to the butterflies!! It really makes it sparkle. I look forward to seeing the new creations every day. Keep them coming. I have even made a few of my own. :)

    Every time I come up with an egg idea, someone from the staff must have read my mind! Thought of butterflies the last two days. Stopped in the store & saw them. all fantastic!
