More From Our Design Team ...

Last week, we shared creations by Design Team members, Chevonne and Karin. Next up ... check out how Tracey and Angie, the other half of our Design Team, created fun and vibrant layouts using The Junior line from American Crafts, American Crafts Thickers, Queen & Co. felt ribbon and other fun embellishments.

As you check out their layouts, notice how ...

Both Tracey and Angie each used patterned paper as a full background page on one of their layouts (don't be afraid!), but yet in smaller doses on their other layouts. The pics in Dino-Mite are matted to mimic the green "mat" of the Thickers letters. Field of Dreams uses the same kind of Thickers letters, but in a way that reminds us of those high school letter jackets the athletes wear. Also notice how the star felt ribbon was used as a full strip, but also cut into smaller parts and scattered throughout their layouts. Blast Off is angled in a fun way to give the feeling of ... well ... blasting off! In Future Rock Star, tags were created with a little help from Cuttlebug embossing folders. And see if you can find how curly paper clips were used in very different ways!

P.S. Don't forget the journaling! In Dino-Mite, Tracey used a journal stamp to create lines to write on -- a great idea for those of us who can't write in a straight line! In Field of Dreams, the journaling is hidden on a tag tucked behind other elements, and in Future Rock Star, Angie typed her journaling and then cut it into strips.
