More Design Team Creations ...

Don't you just LOVE Saturdays! Hope everyone had a great week and you find a little scrappin' time this weekend. If you're looking for a little inspiration, check out a few more of our Design Team creations. This month's challenge involved some really cute Imaginisce papers and a variety of embellishments that we provided (and they may have pulled from their stash).

Our Sweet Favorites by Angie

In Angie's layout she captured a time when her boys were younger and loved helping her make Nestles' Toll-House cookies. Truth be told, they still like "helping" even as teenagers! The papers that she used were Sprinkled with Love and Gigi's Sweet Shop. She used the plain but colorful side of Sprinkled ... but did you notice how she used the coordinating clear heart stamp with a Versamark Watermark stamp to create her own subtle "patterned" background paper? She also used StazOn ink and a small heart stamp to embellish the brads. And she tucked their favorite cookie recipe on a tag behind one of the pictures for safe keeping.

Optimus by Chevonne

Chevonne used Good Morning Sunshine as her background page and the pink side of Twinkle Twirls paper to mat her photos. The result ... an adorable layout about their kitten who clearly has quite the name to grow into! Not much journaling is needed here, as the words on the Sunshine paper and her pictures say it all. She added a single flower with "stems" made from the Prima e-Line of self-adhesive pearls and crystals. If you get a chance to swing by the Playground this weekend, check out the colorful variety of e-line embellishments that may be just the finishing touch that you're looking for for your pages!

Beep! Beep! by Tracey

Love Tracey's "Beep Beep" layout. If you're ever stuck for a page title, look for some inspiration from the name of the paper that you're using (it's printed on the bar code strip that you cut off and toss). So with that said, can you guess what Imaginisce paper she used for this layout? Yep, it's Beep Beep! Notice how Tracey draws attention to her main photo ... not only did she make it larger than the other two pictures, but she double-matted it too. With this great paper and the incredibly cute pictures of her son, not too much more is needed, other than a few car embellishments vrooming around the page.

Let us know what you think! We look forward to sharing with you more from the Design Team in the coming weeks.
