Design Team's March Challenge

Hi Bloggers! Check out what our Design Team did with their March challenge kits that included papers and accessories by My Mind's Eye and Imaginisce, Thickers alphabets and fun finishing touches!

Angie got to play with Li'l Robots paper by My Mind's Eye. She cut individual gears from some of the pattern papers to help draw attention to her main photo. Some of the gears are flat, others popped, and many have been embellished with metal washers and brads (thanks Tim Holtz!). The gear theme is carried out in the "O" in the title and also in the journaling section, which is layered tags from the Li'l Robots accessory sheet. Fun!

Kathleen got to use the Love Me Do papers by My Mind's Eye (appropriate for a newlywed don't ya think!). Her layouts are always fun and interestinig because of her use of layers. Check out how she layered the page title over paper, a heart embellishment and even the ribbon (as if it's running behind the entire title). Keep looking and you'll find clusters of layered embellishments throughout the layout. She even used Dew Drops and heart brads to embellish her embellishments from the accessory sheet.

Chevonne had fun with the Ruffin' It papers and puff stickers by Imaginisce. Love how she stacked the different pattern papers, with their ends clipped at an angle -- kinda looks like the wing pins the airline pilots always wear on their uniforms! Did you notice how she covered the seams between the papers with ribbons? And you know how the Playground gang feels about journaling. No matter how much or how little you put on your page, it's important! Check out how it differs on each layout ... but it's there!
