Hi SP Bloggers ... we're all plenty busy trying to stay "caught up" by scrapping our most current pictures. But what if you pulled out the old shoebox, blew the dust off the top and opened it up to reveal some older memories? It's just another way to get those creative juices flowing in a whole new way.
My oldest will be graduating from high school in a few short months and then "leaving the nest" for an exciting new chapter in his life ... college. So imagine all those Mom feelings that surfaced when I pulled out the shoe box of memories and the first set of pictures I found were when that same son was going to the bus stop for his first day of kindergarten!
The quality of the photo's not all so stunning, but the memory came flooding back like it was only yesterday. There he was all spiffy, with a backpack nearly as big as he was, having a big bro chat with his 4-year old brother in tow. The little guy was doing double-time to try to keep up. And then I remembered a favorite storybook we'd read together at bedtime...Guess How Much I Love You (to the moon and back of course!). So I grabbed the Fancy Pants papers and got busy...
