Look What's Coming ...

Hey there SP Bloggers ... thanks to all who made it by the Playground yesterday to celebrate our 4th anniversary and help make the Playground such a fun and creative place!  Wanted to share a little peek at a couple of upcoming classes and tell you about the QK Club that's kicking off this summer.

Jan, the newest member of the Playground teaching staff, will be offering a Paper Graphics (quilling) class at 7PM on July 5.  Now in unison Playgrounders ... "Welcome Jaaaaaaan!"  With Jan's help and creativity, we're looking forward to bringing more of this paper art to you!  In the meantime, here's a look at one of the pieces from the class; the full set of class samples is on display at the store.

Many of you know about Renee's ever-so-popular Seasonal classes ... she's an incredibly fun and gifted scrapper and that shines through in these classes.  She takes you through the creation of not one, but two, 2-page layouts that are suited for a holiday or activity that takes place during that particular month.  As you may have guessed, one of the June Seasonal layouts has Father's Day in mind ... but it's great for any kind of guy layout.  Below is a peek at just the first page of one of  her June 2-page layouts.  What's also cool about this is it opens up like a jacket for even more memories to be captured inside!

If you are just getting started in this incredible hobby, you might feel you're not quite ready for some of our classes.  A great way to get started is by taking Sue's monthly Layout of the Month classes -- otherwise known as LOM.  For just $5, you'll create a fun scrapbook page and learn a new technique.  If you bring your homework to the next month's LOM, that class is FREE.  (Homework is creating a second layout -- it can even be the second page of the layout you created with Sue -- that uses the technique you learned in that class.)  There are still a few seats left in June LOMs which are at 7pm on June 20 and 21, 5pm on June 26 and 10:30 am on June 27.
