Our May Challenge is On!

Hi SP Bloggers ... May is all about Moms.  So we're challenging you to make a scrapbook page, card or project that's all about Moms and that includes the use of QuicKutz.  If you're a Mom, spotlight what it means to you (get in your scrapbook pages for a change!). Or pay tribute to your Mom, daughter or daughter-in-law about what makes them great Moms.  Like your creativity, the possibilities are endless -- and you have a whole month to finish this challenge!

Email a photo of your finished project to scrappersplayground.angie@gmail.com by May 31 and the first 10 local submissions will receive a Playground goodie bag.

But that's not all...

Bring your finished project to the Playground by May 31 and we'll include it in a display for when the QuicKutz/Lifestyle Crafts folks are visiting the afternoon of June 2 to help us celebrate our 5th anniversary!  Those who bring their projects in will be part of a random drawing for a QuicKutz package.  You won't want to miss our June 2 event either; there will be make-n-takes, give aways (and some specials just for our QK Club members too!).

A quick recap of our May Challenge is below, along with pics of just some of the QuicKutz options that await you.  Have fun creating!

Just some of the QuicKutz die cuts
and embossing folder options!

Challenge Summary: Tribute to Moms Using QuicKutz
  • By May 31, email your project photo (small size) to scrappersplayground.angie@gmail.com.
  • In your email, include your name (since we can't always tell who you are by your email address) and the QuicKutz item(s) you used in your project.
  • By May 31, bring your project to the store to be part of a display for June 2 QK/Lifestyle Crafts visit.
  • Tips for taking a picture of your project:  lay your project on a flat surface; try to take a straight on shot; use your flash; get close and hold steady (it might help to rest your camera on a table or stack of books to help keep it steady).

  3. Hello Scrappersplayground friends, I am enjoying my time here in Japan with my new granddaughter and son and daughter-n-law. Happy National Scrapbooking day to all of you. I hope you all go into the store and take advantage of the great sales, ect that I am going to miss out on. My son took me to a craft store the other day cause he knows how much I love to scrap. Wish I could have been there with all of you but not this year. This year is reserve for someone special. i will be back in a few weeks and ready to scrap tons of pictures that I have taken of my precious Lily. Miss you all and thank you for your well wishes on facebook. See you all soon. Karen Cappa
