We're All a Flutter: Creations & Classes Galore!

Hi SP Bloggers...Check out the Flutter Cake that Miriam whipped up for our SP Cupcake Challenge.  She decorated her paper mache cupcake with Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabbers (Salmon and Snow Cap); Viva Decor (Sapphire Light Blue 3D Glitter) and new Petaloo butterflies.  Paint the cupcake base with the Salmon then Snow Cap Dabbers.  Paint the icing with the 3D glitter. Add ribbon and butterfly embellishments and you've got yourself a beautiful Flutter Cake!

If you're looking for even more inspiration, consider Playground classes! This week, we have Renee's Heritage class on Wednesday and Angie's Everyday Moments on Thursday. In Angie's class, create a 2-page layout (sneak peek below) to capture your morning routine.  The layout is totally adaptable to capture your own routine. Maybe it's what you do every day to get the kids up and off to school or the serious pillow hair heads you and/or your family sport each morning. Maybe it's whether you are an early riser (or not!) or maybe you want to capture the "must have" things you need to kick start your day -- a favorite cup of coffee or tea, a newspaper or news program.  You get the idea! It's these kinds of everyday moments that make our lives our lives.  Call or stop by the store to sign up for these and other fun classes.  Happy creating!

  1. How do you pik these names. Flutter cake is making me hungry. Yum.

  2. I love the everyday moments layout, I'm on vacation right now so won't be in town for the class, is that coffee cup a die cut or a stamp?

  3. @Antonelly -- You know the SP crew -- they're a creative bunch! Thanks for looking!

@butterfly843 -- Sorry you can't join us for Everyday Moments this month, but enjoy vacation! (Oh, and coffee cup created from Hero Arts stamp.)

  4. Another great cupcake. I've just seen them all. Have to come in the store today!
