It Was an Echo Park Weekend at SP!

Hi SP Bloggers ... what a great experience with Jody from Echo Park this weekend.  He kicked things off with a a bit of an unplanned tour of Coney Island (ha!), followed by his arrival at the Playground to host a fun Friday night crop.  Then Saturday was a full day of inspiring workshops -- two layout classes and a card class.

It was great to hear first hand from Jody what makes Echo Park such a terrific company and to have the opportunity to offer our insights as well.  It was also fun walking through the creation of some terrific projects and picking up some of the brand new lines ... For the Record Documented, For the Record Tailored and Chillingsworth Manor.

Thank you to all the Playgrounders who participated and helped welcome Jody to New York for his first (and hopefully not his last) visit to New York. Thank you also to Jody for spending this time with us.  We all appreciated your humor, creativity, support and generous spirit -- just ask all who enjoyed the many give-aways and Echo Park specials for class participants!  And, of course, thank you to the SP team for all of your support throughout the EP weekend.

Jody, on behalf of all the Playgrounders, we hope you enjoy the rest of your visit to NYC and have a happy, happy birthday!

for the card making session.

Jody shared with us what it's like to start a
business like Echo Park...

There were Echo Park specials and give-aways all day long!
Literally all day long...
We aren't kidding ... all day long!

It was a nice relaxing creative vibe ...

And Jody was happy to lend a hand if needed.

A peek at some of the cards we created...

Jody offered deals that we just
couldn't say "no" to.

Don't ask ... but just know a good time was had by all!
