It's A Pumpkin Two-fer!

Hi SP Bloggers ... didn't get a chance to blog on Friday so will double up on the SP team's pumpkin challenge creations.  Check out the two very cool creations by Renee and LynnMarie.  Amazing isn't it how everyone approaches their projects with such different results ... love 'em both.  Remember to leave comments on each blog ... your name just might be pulled from our random drawing of blogger participants.  Enjoy the weekend!

Renee's Mickey Pumpkin

MICKEY PUMPKIN
 
Supplies: Paper mache pumpkin; Silks - Black Ice; Queen & Co. Trendy Tapes; white cardstock; circle punches; ribbon.
 
Instructions:  Paint pumpkin with Silks Black Ice.  Run Queen & Co. "Magic" Trendy Tape in grooves.  Cover white cardstock with different rows of Trendy Tape.  Punch out four large circles and glue two together.  Cut slits in pumpkin top and slip in for Mickey ears.  Cover white cardstock with "Star" Trendy Tape and punch out for two eyes.  Add mini Mickey heads for pupils.  Cut out oval black nose and adhere to pumpkin. Make mouth out of yellow Trendy Tape and adhere to pumpkin. Tie black, red, and white curl ribbon to pumpkin stem.
 
CINDERELLI PUMPKIN
Supplies:  Paper Mache Pumpkin; Paint Dabber – Malted Milk; Rock Candy Dry Glitter; Metallic Gold Alcohol Ink; Lace Ribbon; Leaf Ribbon; Tim Holtz Mini Halloween Stamp Set; Wheels; Mirror Paper; Manila Paper; Stardust Pen; Embossing Ink; Queen’s Gold Embossing Powder; Black Soot Distress Stain; Crown Charm; Zots Glue Dots; Multi Medium – Matte; glossy Accents; Craft Knife; Heat Tool
Instructions: Paint Pumpkin with Dabber. Alcohol Ink Stem. Let Dry. Cut top of pumpkin with exacto knife. Remove top.  Make holes in bottom of pumpkin for Wheels. Alcohol Ink the Wheels then attach. Paint pumpkin and lid with Matte Medium then sprinkle Glitter all over. Let dry.  Add Leaf ribbon to pumpkin lid. Then Lace Ribbon. Alcohol Ink Crown. Cut slit in Stem and use Glossy Accents to adhere. Ink Mirror Stamp with Embossing Ink and stamp onto Manila Paper. Repeat. Sprinkle Queen’s Gold Embossing Powder onto images. Tap excess and heat to emboss. Swipe Black Soot Stain over Mirror images and wipe. Fussy cut the Mirrors and cut out the centers too! Cut Mirror Paper to fit behind the stamped Mirrors. Remove film from Mirror paper and adhere to the back with glue dots. Remove protective paper from the Mirror Paper to expose the adhesive back. Add one glue dot on each side and adhere to the pumpkin.
