Mosaic Heart

Our next Heart creation comes from LynnMarie

Materials used
Ranger Antiquities Embossing Powder – Cement
Tim Holtz Seasonal Paper Stash
Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet Distress Stain
Ranger Perfect Pearls Mist – Pewter
Rope Twine
Glossy Accents
Flower Crochet Ribbon
Glue Dots
Red Line Tape – Sheet
QuicKutz Die - Nesting Hearts
Ranger Heat Tool

LynnMarie started off inking Heart with Tim Holtz Distress Stain(Victorian Velvet). Then she used her heat gun to dry. She sprayed the heart with Ranger's Perfect Pearl Mist(Pewter) heating to dry as well. She inked the rope Twine with Stain. She let the rope twine air dry. After she let  the rope dry she cut some to make a bow. LynnMarie then inked Flower Ribbon with stain. She heat dried the ribbon.  Then cut it in half. She then cut Paper Stash Paper into bits of random sized and shaped pieces. She set pieces aside. LynnMarie then Die Cut Heart from Red Line Tape Sheet.  Remove red top.  She randomly placed pieces of cut paper onto the adhesive like she was making a mosaic tile.  Leaving spaces between the pieces.  Then she poured embossing powder over the entire heart gently pressing the embossing powder in the gaps.  She then taps lightly to remove excess embossing powder.  She then heat embossed powder. Let cool completely.  LynnMarie added  Glossy Accents to each piece of Paper.  Let dry completely. She then removed backing from Mosaic Heart and adhere to the Paper Mache Heart…slightly off center. Then She used Glossy Accents to adhere Rope Twine around the Mosaic Tile Heart. Finally she adhered pieces of Flower Ribbon and Twine bow with Glue Dots. Voila! Done!!!  Stay tuned tomorrow to see how you can summit your own heart creation.
