Tie Dye Bunny

Morning Bloggers
The next egg-celent egg creation comes from Maria.

Materials Needed:
Tim Holtz Acrylic Distressing Paint-Seedless Preserves and Salty Ocean
Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamp Set-Mini Blueprints #2
Ranger Dylusion Spray-Bubblegum Pink
Ranger Distress Ink Pad-Walnut Stain
Ranger Distress Makers-Walnut Stain and Vintage Photo
Ranger Water Brush
Watercolor Paper
Wink a Stella Brushes-Glitter Yellow
Heating Tool
Pearl Ribbon
Crepe yellow Ribbon
Spray bottle
Glue dots
Tim Holtz Scissors

Maria started off dabbing spot of the distress paint all over the egg alternating between the two colors of Distress Paint. While the paints are still wet Maria sprayed the paint with the Dylusion Spray and water alternating between the two. Then she moved the egg around making the paint drip and swirl into each other. When desired effect was reach she dried with a heating tool. She then stamped on a white piece of watercolor paper the bunny from the Mini Blueprints stamp #2. Maria colored the bunny by outlining the bunny with walnut stain and filling in the middle with vintage photo. Then she took the water brush and pulled the color from the outline of the bunny to the center blending the two colors. She colored the bow of the bunny with Wink of stella brush. Then she took the crepe ribbon tide it around the the egg making a bow. Maria then made a smaller bow out of the pearl ribbon, she then attached smaller bow to the yellow ribbon. Maria then cut out the bunny with scissors trying not to be straight she wanted a wavy cut. When finished she attached the bunny to the egg with a glue dot. TADA!!!! A tie dye egg. Stay tuned tomorrow for our final egg creation from our staff. Then it will be your turn. I can not wait.
