Bird House Challenge

Good Morning Bloggers:

The birds are chirping very loudly this morning and are very excited about all their new homes!  It's time to release the next bird house that they are sure to love made by Corinne.

Materials Used:
Gesso
Quick Quotes Powder Puff Ink; Baja Blue
Viva Stone Art: Sand Gold
Wink of Stella Pens: Pink, Lt. Green, Yellow and Clear
Eclips Dress Up Cartridge:  Surfboards, Board Shorts and Bikini
Bazzill Basics Paper:  Ambrosia - Tablecloth, Printed Stripe and Detailed Chevron
Fab Scraps flip flop
Twine

Corinne painted the bird house with Gesso.  She then sponged Quick Quotes Powder Puff Ink Baja Blue over the sides and bottom of birdhouse.  She used a disposable knife to spread Viva Stone Art Sand Gold over the roof giving it a "rough" look.  While it was drying, she used the Eclips Dress Up Cartridge to cut out 4 surboards, a pair of board shorts and a bikini from the Bazzill Basics Ambrosia.  Corinne also cut out flowers from Ambrosia Tablecloth paper.  She attached one of the flowers to the green fern.  She then cut out the center of flower to fit over opening in bird house.  Corinne used her Wink of Stella Pens to color over flowers and fern to give a little glitter.  She glued two surboards together to give it substance and then covered both surfboards with Glossy Accents to give them a "waxed" look.  She attached a pair of board shorts and a bikini to twine using Glossy Accents for the clothesline in back of house.  She attached a flower to both sides of the house and the flower with fern to front of house.  She attached with Zots the surfboard to front of house and the surfboard to back of house.  Using mini Zots, she attached clothesline to back of house.  The final touch, she attached a flip flop to twine and dangled from post in front of bird house.

Great job Corinne.
