May's Tweet Challenge

Hello Bloggers,

Tweet Tweet Spring is in the air!  The birds are all in a flutter looking for a new home!  Scrapper's Playground ladies are building the birds their new homes.  Come and join us for this "tweet" challenge of building bird houses.  Our challenge will begin on May 1st with the release of our staff's bird houses everyday then it will be your turn.  Challenge opens up to the public on May 9th! Looking forward to seeing everyone's submissions!  All submissions should be sent to scrappersplayground.maria@gmail.com.

 

To start off our "Tweet" challenge, we have our first bird house submitted by Kathy Diamond.

Materials Used:

3D-Stempel Farbe 3D Stamp Paint ~ Lime Green-Metallic and Hellblau-Metallic

Petaloo Premier ~ The Penny Lane Garden Collection Flowers

Fab Scrap ~ Bird with Leaves
Ribbon with Little Flowers

Glossy Accents

First Kathy painted the roof of the house with the 3D Hellblau Metallic Paint.  Once dry, Kathy then painted the body of the bird house using the 3D Lime Green Metallic paint.  Once the bird house was dry, she adhered the flowers to the side of the bird house opening using glossy accent.  Kathy added the ribbon to the top of the bird house using glossy accents.  Finally she glossy accented the bird onto the bird house.  Keep your ears open for the tweeting he birds will be doing with the first of their new homes.  Stay tuned to tomorrow for the release of our next creation from our staff!
