Corinne's Star

Good Evening Bloggers:

We have been having such a blast this weekend between the weekend crop and everyone working on their Stars.  Our next Star was submitted by our very own Star - Corinne.

Material Used:
White Gesso
Dyan Reavely Concord Grape

Matte Medium
Hero Arts Prisma Glitter
Bazzill Vintage Button
Bazzil Self Adhesive Jewels
Ribbon

Corinne started out by painting the entire Star with White Gesso and let it dry.  Once dried, she then sprayed lightly with Dyan Reavely Concord Grape and let it dry.  She then painted a coat of Matte Medium on one side of star and sprinkled Hero Arts Prisma Glitter on the one side and then let it dry.  Once dried she then painted a coat of Matte Medium on other side of the Star and sprinkle with glitter.  Corinne then cut off the  button shank from a Bazzill Vintage Button and attached it to the front of the star using Zots Craft Glue Dot.  She then used a small drop of Glossy Accents on each point of her Star and attached Bazzill Self Adhesive Jewels.  She then made a bow with ribbon and attached to the top of the Star.  Corinne printed the saying "Star Light, Star Bright, First Star I See Tonight..." on vellum and punched it out with Marvy Oval Scallop Punch.  For the final touch she then attached the vellum saying with a hook eye and ring to the bottom of the Star.

Don't forget to leave your comments on the blog regarding all of our beautiful Stars!  There will be a winner picked at the end of the challenge.
