Good Evening Bloggers:

Today we are releasing the 2nd card for this month from our Card Designer, Carol Celeste.   This card along with the other projects are hanging up on the wall to the right of the door as soon as you walk into Scrapper's Playground. Please feel free to ask any of our Staff for information on the products that were used on these projects.

 2nd Card by Carol Celeste

Deepest Sympathy

Supplies:
Cardstock
Quickutz Scallop Edges Border Die Set
Stamp Sets  Paper Smooches
Flowers - Calico
Sentiment Good Gab
Inks: Versa Magic Chalk Inks in Thatched Straw, Aspen Mist, Aloe Vera
         Archival Jet Black Ink
Viva Decor Pen in Clear

I find sympathy cards to be challenging to create.  We want them to be tasteful and not overly done.  That is often a hard balance to create.

To create this card, I scored the white cardstock at 1 1/4 ad 2 3/4.  I used post-it notes to mask off the area; then stamped the flowers.  The scallop border was cut with the die and adhered.  Pearl pen dots were added as simple accents.  I added one more score line across the top of the sentiment panel t balance the scallop border.  Then it was mounted onto blue cardstock.

Great job Carol!  Love the use of the stamp set and the scallop edges!  This card is perfect for someone who just lost a loved one.
