Assemble:
-
Cut CS to 8 x 2 5/8. Distress the edges with your Distress Tool and ink the edges with Distress Ink using a Blending Tool.
-
Cut Copic Paper to 7¾ x 2 3/8.
-
Choose Sea Life Images from the Stamp set. Position stamps upside down (grey should be facing you) on the Copic Paper strip (when positioning remember to plan for the seaweed at the bottom). Place the Clear Grid Block on top of the Stamps and press. Turn the Grid Block over and now you are ready to ink the stamps with Memento Black. You will now be able to stamp the images onto the Copic Paper strip all at once!
-
Note: This is a great tip to use when you are mass producing a bookmark because stamping each image individually can become daunting!
-
Begin coloring your Sea Life Images with your Copic Markers. Then color your background to resemble the ocean. Accent with the Stardust Pen.
-
Ink the Seaweed Image with Memento Black and stamp onto a scrap piece of Copic Paper. Color the image with your Copics. Don't forget to color the background the same color as your ocean. Cut out the image but don't stress...you have the ocean as a border which allows you to avoid detailed fussy cutting...so leave as much border around the seaweed as you see fit. Do cut it so that the seaweed appears to be flowing...
-
Adhere Seaweed to the Copic Paper strip (but adhere only the lower portion). Trim bottom as needed.
-
Adhere the Copic Paper strip to the CS.
-
Color your Clear Crystals with Copic Markers. Adhere to the Copic Paper strip to look like bubbles.
-
Place matted strip into Bookmark Sleeve.
-
Color your ribbons with the Copic Markers. Tie to the top of the Bookmark Sleeve. Voila!Great Job LynnMarie! Love the use of all the different products that you used!
