Silver egg

Morning blogger,

Last and final egg comes from Sue

Materials Needed:

Viva Decor Inka Gold colors: Lava Red, Emerald green, Indian Yellow, Cobalt blue, Violet and Platinum
Paper towel
Kitchen Sponge w/ (scrubby side)
Red paint
Water
Paint brush

First Sue rubs on the different colors of Inka Gold all over the egg. When the egg is dry. Sue buffed with a paper towel to make it shine.  After she was done buffering she added the Inka-Gold Platinum to the whole egg covering the other colors. She then buffed that platinum. Sue then took a dry kitchen sponge using the scruffy side, scratched parts of the platinum off to reveal the colors underneath.  Finally she mix red paint and water thinning the paint out. She then takes the paint brush and splattered the paint all over the egg. Tada!!!!! You get this perfect shiny egg. I hope you liked it and you try this technique yourself.

Rainbow Egg

Morning Bloggers,

Our next Egg-traordinary Egg creation comes from Debbie.

Materials Used:
Ranger Ink Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber - SNOW CAP
Red Line Tape
Tombow Markers: 443, 173, 925, 703, 055
Tim Holtz Clear Rock Candy Dry Glitter
Pink Ribbon flower.

First Debbie painted the whole egg with Snow Cap Paint Dabber.  After you let the paint dry. Debbie took several pieces of red line tape and wrapped it around the egg leaving big spaces between the tape. After she was done with that she pealed the top part of the tape off.  Debbie then she rolled the egg in Rock Candy Glitter coating the tape with the glitter. When that was done she took the Tombow markers and paint in the spaces to make a rainbow effect. And finally she added a pink ribbon flower to the top. Wella!!!!! A Cheerful egg that would but a smile on anyone face.

OMG - It's Egg-ceptional!

Hi SP Bloggers... well LynnMarie has gone and done it.  Her first Egg-stravaganza creation was a beauty, but her second one has me speechless (and that's no eggs-aggeration!).  Check it out and then leave us your comments at the bottom of this blog post!

Ironworks Supply List & Instructions:  You'll need a wooden egg; Ranger Foil Tape; Embossing Folder; DieCut Machine; Pitch Black Acrylic Paint Dabber; Alcohol Inks (Mountain Rose, Ginger, Meadow; Denim; Lettuce, Butterscotch, Purple Twilight and Sunset Orange); Blending Tool and Felt; Paper Towel.

Begin by cutting foil tape; place it in the embossing folder and run it through your die cut machine.  Next, cover the foil Tape with Black Dabber paint. Wait a minute then use a paper towel to remove paint. Some paint will remain in crevices to appear as shadows. Repeat.  Then, using your blending tool, apply alcohol inks in these colors: Mountain Rose, Ginger, Meadow and Denim.  Let it dry and then apply a second layer of alcohol inks in these additional colors: Lettuce, Butterscotch, Purple Twilight and Sunset Orange. Let that dry.  Finally cut the foil tape into random shapes and sizes.  Randomly adhere the pieces to the egg, overlapping until the egg is completely covered.
