Miriam's Pumpkin
Good Evening Bloggers:
Each day we are REVEALING a Pumpkin Designed by one of our very own staff - Miriam! Each Pumpkin will explore how to use various mediums, embellishments and more! Then on October 22nd it will be YOUR turn to show us what you've got...so stop by to pick up your naked pumpkin and your favorite supplies! Your Pumpkins will be showcased in the store! Please send pictures of your completed pumpkin to Kathy Diamond at scrappersplayground.kathy@gmail.com.
Don't forget to leave comments as we will be picking two winners at the end of the challenge for the cutest pumpkin by our friends and a winner for comments!

Supplies
Pumpkin
White Gesso
Dylusions Ink Spray - Calypso Teal
Glossy Accents
Miriam started out by giving the base coat of White Gesso and let it dry completely. Once dried, Miriam sprayed the pumpkin with Dylusions Ink Spray - Calypso Teal. Once dried decorate the pumpkin as you would like.
Miriam then took a piece of white paper and glued it with Glossy Accents. She then made a banner and attached it to the roll. She then cut a hole in the stem of the pumpkin and inserted the banner into the stem and glued with Glossy Accents.

Kathy's Star
Good Evening Bloggers:
We hope that everyone is enjoying the Stars as much as we are! We are excited and can't wait to see the Stars that you will be submitting starting July 6th.
The next Star to be released is by our Social Media Staff Member, Kathy D.
Material's Used:
White Gesso
Viva Glitter Paste - Red
Silks Paint - Rich Colbalt
Flower Painted with Viva Precious Metal Colour - Mother of Pearl
Gem Stone
Kathy started out by painting the Star with White Gesso. Once dried, she then painted the entire Star with Viva Glitter Paste Red and let it dry. Kathy then painted the tips of the Star with Rich Colbalt Silks Paint. While the paint was drying, Kathy painted the Flower with Viva Precious Metal Colour Mother of Pearl. Once the flower was dried, Kathy adhered the Gem Stone and Flower to the Star using 3-1 Beacon Glue.

Birdhhouse Challenge #3
Hello Bloggers:
It's time to release our 3rd birdhouse from Miriam:
Materials Used:
White Gesso
Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Embossing Powder
Fragments Glue On
Fabric Leaves
Bird
Glossy Accents
Miriam painted the birdhouse first using white gesso. Once dried, she used Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Embossing Powder. She then glued to the top of the house Fragment Glue On using Glossy Accents. Once dried Miram then glued on the Fabric Leaves around the bottom of the bird house using Glossy Accents. For the final touch, Miriam added the bird.
We hope the birds are enjoying their new homes! Stay tuned for the release of our next birdhouse tomorrow.
