The Egg-stravaganza Begins

Hi SP Bloggers ... The March challenge is a little different, but one you can still capture in your scrapbook pages. The SP Crew has hatched up an egg-stravaganza of a challenge that's going to have you scrambling to get involved. (Sorry, couldn't help myself with the bad egg jokes!)

Each day, between March 12 and March 24, we'll display (in the store and on the blog) a wooden egg designed by an SP team member. We encourage you to share your comments on the blog. Then get egg-cited and involved with us during Creation Week (March 24 thru March 30) to emulate or design your own interpretation of the team's egg(s) and post pictures of your creation to our blog. We'll tell you how you can do this posting as Creation Week nears.

With each display, we'll provide you with instructions and a supply list (all supplies, including wooden eggs, available for purchase at SP) for each egg-ceptional creation. At the end of Creation Week, we'll do a random drawing from our blog comments and posts of egg-squisite and egg-spressive egg creations.

Our first creation, Egg on the Edge, is by Debbie...

Egg on the Edge

Egg on the Edge Supplies & Instructions: To create this, you'll need a wooden egg; Spun Sugar Distress Stain; QuicKutz Edge Die Kit; patterned paper; flowers; rhinestone.  Begin by staining  the wooden egg with Spun Sugar.  While it dries, die cut your edge of choice from QuicKutz Edge kit and wrap the edge to form the base for your egg.  Add a 2-layered flower to the egg and add a rhinestone to the flower center.
