Let's Catch Up!

Hi SP Bloggers ... grab your morning coffee, 'cause we have some serious catching up to do!

As always, the Playground's been hopping with creativity.  First, a huge "Thank you!" to Joey from Bazzill for a great few days of classes, laughs and prizes.  We hope she had a great time reconnecting with her "old" Long Island friends Saturday night before she has to head back home to Arizona. Those who took her classes shared that it was lots of fun and they now have some new favorite projects and products (the sander, the adhesive roller, the textured sandable paper, and the list goes on!).

Front of the Card Organizer
(Notice it's textured sandable pink paper)

We also made six cards to get started.
Each month has a pocket page to note occasions
and hold cards that you plan to send.

In the layout class, we made 3 1-page layouts
but with instructions and supply list to make its 2nd page.
This is one of the 3 projects...

And this was another of the 3 layouts we made.
Love the sandable textured card stock. So many uses!

What started as a plain chipboard album,
turned into this beautiful finished Lickity Slip Album (8x8)

Inside, we creates "pages" for a variety of
page protectors -- from 8x8 to various other sizes
(some of which fold to open up to surprises)

Joey from Bazzill kicks off the 1st card class.

The March calendar is jam packed with classes -- old faves and new ones too.  First up is Sue's card class on Monday, March 12th (7pm), where you will get the goodies to make 4 cards with honeycomb centers (3 in class and one to go).  Sneak peeks are below.  Give a call or come in if you'd like to sign up; we can take your credit card payment information by phone if you just can't make it by the Playground before class.

Of course, there's lots of new stuff arriving at the Playground all the time.  Here are pictures of some of the latest new goodies.

Bazzill Papers -- not just cardstock anymore!

Bazzill's fun stuff (bling and bling templates, flowers, chipboard
album, buttons, paper tape, journal packs that double as 4x6
paper and more!)

Tim Holtz's new Compendium of Curiosities Vol 2

New die cuts (look at the variety of flower options!)

And this new edge die cut too!

Tim Holt'z new storage (paper valise). Perfect for storing your
papers and easy to grab and go when you're off to a crop.

SP's Miriam (aka Vanna) is showing off a new
Karen Foster stow and go case too. Inside has lots
of pockets and storage options.

And for those with the new eClips, check out the new carry case!

Lots of fun laser die cuts
(these are Disney related)

Here's a laser die cut for Harry Potter fans.
There are others (Mets, Yankees, etc. not shown).

New Lawn Fawn stamps ... these are just a few!
Great for all craft projects -- especially cards!

Graphic 45 Kraft Reflections line (love it!).  Can't wait to use these
with the Graphic 45 brass flowers and butterflies (not shown).

You've all seen the 12x12 vertical racks of Authentique papers.
Well there's a mini version now filled with Free Bird papers.
These are 6x6 paper lines with gorgeous patterns on one side
and solid coordinating colors (just one solid side is shown above).
These are just SOME of the Free Bird papers ... you're going to
want to check these out.  Great for all paper projects, but
cardmakers are going to be in heaven!
