A Chic (Not Shabby!) Creation!

Hi SP Bloggers ... Corinne, Ms. Shabby Chic herself, has created a Tiffany and Co. cupcake.  Can't get more chic than that!  Below are the supplies and instructions if you'd like to recreate this cupcake!

"Tiffany" Cupcake by Corinne

Supplies for this include the paper mache cupcake, white Gesso, Adirondack Brights Acrylic Paint Dabber (Pool); Viva Decor's Mirror Paint; Silks Paint (Ice); Stickles (Stardust); Pearl String; FabScrap Butterfly, Bazzill Rhinestones; silk ribbon; Zots and Glossy Accents.

Begin by painting the top and bottom with two coats of Gesso (dry between coats).  Then work on the top icing part.  Paint it with a coat of Silk Ice. Then add the Pearl String -- best to do this in two parts, starting at the top and working your way down.  First put a craft-sized Zot on top of the cupcake, add 3-4 more Zots randomly within about a half inch of the top and then spread Glossy Accents between Zots.  Put your Pearl String at the top center and begin wrapping around and down the top portion of the icing section.  The Zots hold your pearls in place while the Glossy Accent dries. Once you've wrapped enough pearls to cover the first set of Zots, place more Zots and Glossy Accents on the next section of your icing and continue wrapping your pearl string until the whole top of the cupcake is covered.

Paint the bottom of the cupcake with 2 coats of Pool Dabber. Then paint it with 2 coats of Silks Ice.  Paint both sides of the FabScrap Butterfly with Viva Mirror Paint and, when dry, add Stardust Stickles.

Time to decorate your cupcake!  Attach a large rhinestone to the top of the cupcake and 2 rhinestones to the butterfly body.  Use a Zot to attach the butterfly to the cupcake.  Add your white bow and you've got a beautiful creation!

Happy "baking"!
