Something's Cookin' at the Playground...

Hi SP Bloggers ... There have been so many birthday celebrations at the Playground recently that we've developed quite the sweet tooth.  So we took that - and some inspiration from the variety of cupcakes Nick's baked for us through the years -- and we challenged the Playground crew to do a little "baking" of their own.  We're now ready to begin sharing their creations with you (not only in our blog, but in the store too).  We invite you to leave us comments as the SP crew's creations come "out of the oven" throughout the week.

First up is Debbie's Golden Cupcake!

Debbie used a paper mache cupcake, Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber (Hazelnut); Silk Paint (Jasmine); Viva Decor (Sandstone Gold); crown embellishment; Goosebumps embellishments.  Paint the base of the cupcake with the Hazelnut Dabber then, once dry, paint over that with the Jasmine Silk.  Paint the icing top of the cupcake with Sandstone Gold and add the crown and bling.

  2. Me too! Reminds me of when my kid brother licked all the frosting off but left the rest of the cupcake for everyone else. He always was a little odd (ha!). Thanks for looking!

  3. The cupcake would look tasty without it but that crown of bling really has "MAJESTIC" written all over it! Good Job!
