Welcome Dyan!!

Hi SP Bloggers ... we are so excited to roll out the SP red carpet for Dyan Reaveley, Ranger Designer and guest teacher at the Playground this weekend!  She'll be teaching us to let loose with her Dylusions line of inks, stencils and funky stamps during three amazing workshops on Saturday and again on Sunday.  It's sure to be great fun and inspire us to try new things too!

The fun and talented Dyan Reaveley!

In Down and Dirty Tags,
We'll create large quirky tags in Dyan's quirky style.
And it'll be finished off with an array of her quote stamps. 
Techniques include paints, inks, stamps, sprays, and stencils.  

In her Background Journal Class,
Dyan will start us out with making gorgeous inky and painty
backgrounds on manila cardstock and then adding
background stamping and stenciling. 

The backgrounds will all be folded and made
into a fabulous journal. Flaps, tags, lift ups,
pockets and envelopes will be added too.

In her Stitched Canvas Book class,

Dyan will start us off with plain
watercolor paper, then bring it to life with paints,
inks, gesso, stencils, stamps and doodling. 

A fold here, a flap there, a canvas
cover and some hand-stitching
will transform it all into a
stunning book. Stamps and images
from the Dylusions collection will
add the finishing touches!
