What a Great Weekend!

Hi SP Bloggers... hope you all had a great weekend and found a little time to let your creative divas free!  We wanted to extend a heart-felt "Thank you!" to Dyan Reaveley (and "Ranger Terri") for spending the weekend with us at the Playground.  All who took part in Dyan's workshops this weekend have told us they had a great time!
It was amazing for all of us to start with the same set of supplies and instructions, but each turning out our YOU-nique works of ART! Dyan certainly left her mark at the Playground (really!).

Dyan left "her mark" at Scrappers Playground!

Please view our August calendar to see what great cardmaking, scrapbooking and fun artistic classes you want to sign up for. Plans are underway for our next Garage Sale too -- call us for details.

Have a creative week!  Here are a few more photos of our weekend artists who joined Dyan.

  1. Thank you SP & Dyan for such a wonderful day! What a treat my friends and I had! We were swooning over all of our handmade books while on the LIRR back to Manhattan. I could hardly sleep Saturday night with all of the ideas I had swimming 'round in my head of how I would complete my journals! This class was definitely "one for the books" and one that won't soon be forgotten! We look forward to our next "field trip" to Long Island and hopefully another class with Dyan somewhere down the road... Thanks, SP!

  3. What an amazing day at Scrapper's Playground. Dyan is an amazing person, educator and artist. I have to agree with Michele-we loved looking at our books the whole way back to the city. We will certainly be back to the playground!

  4. I've been playing with my new Dylusions stamps and stencils since Dyan's fabulous classes on Saturday and having a blast! As Michele said, my head is swimming with all the techniques we learned.
Thank you Dyan for your excellent classes, and Scrapper's Playground for the warm welcome. We'll be back!

  5. I totally loved my day on The Island. Not only did we create amazing art with Dyan (thanks to Scrapper's Playground), but our lunch at Krysten's and dinner from the next door pizzeria got 2 inky thumbs up! Thanks to Sue and crew these 4 gals will be making plans to visit again!
