2nd Layout by Jeanette Giancaspro

Good Afternoon Bloggers:
Today we are releasing the second layout from Jeanette Giancaspro from our Design team. This layout along with the other projects are hanging up on the wall to the right of the door as soon as you walk into Scrapper's Playground. Our Design Team is doing an awesome job on these projects and have inspired others to think outside the box!  Please feel free to ask any of our Staff for information on the products that were used on these layouts.

Layouts by Jeanette Giancaspro

Music Man

Supplies:

Simple Stories Smarty Pants Collection, including papers and embellishments

Twill ribbon

Letter stickers

Music note die-cuts cut with die-cutting machine (I used an SVG file, which can be used with the eClips machine.  The School and Sports eClips cartridge has music note images also.)
Die-cut letters cut with die-cutting machine  (True Type Font or cartridges will work.)

For this layout, I had only one picture from high school with my music teacher (Victor Tallarico, Steven Tyler of Aerosmith’s father).  I enlarged it to 5 x7 and mounted it on one of the cut-outs from the paper collection.  I applied the adhesive to the inside of the mat, leaving the edges free so that I could lift them up and tuck the other cut-outs under the mat.  I adhered this on top of the background, which I created by cutting large (11 x 5 ½”) pieces of the patterned paper.

I added the title, music notes, and other embellishments, creating a visual triangle.  For the journaling, I wrote everything on strips of cut-up patterned paper and alternated the colors.  As a final touch, I added hand-drawn doodling and little stickers from the Smarty Pants collection.

Great job Jeanette!
